Advanced and
Leisure Bike Ride:
The Spring City Cycling Club will host the annual bide ride on Monday,
June 2nd, starting at 0930 hours. In the past years, this ride has taken
the bikers through beautiful scenery of the Tennessee Valley. This year,
we will form up 2 groups for the ride: an advanced group and a leisurely
group. Each group will have a dedicated leader and will cover the same
route, so none will miss the beautiful countryside. Bikes and helmets
are provided at no cost! In other words, it is F R E E!
The honorary bike ride co-leaders are Dr.
John B. Foulkes, Director, TRMC, sponsor of Test Week 2008, and Dr.
William McCorkle, Director, AMRDEC, host of Test Week 2008. Ms. Janie
Miernik, NASA Representative and member of Spring City Cycling Club will
provide the group leaders, maps, and route markings. Refreshments will
be sponsored by ERC, Inc. at the beginning, middle, and end of the ride.
